The BITS 2.0 Production Task Export transmittal method for a Schedule Group Production Task transmits an XML file in BITS format containing information about:
The individual elements are written to the XML file based on their order in the Schedule Group TOC. Chapters in the Pre-Selected Submissions grid are not written out in the XML file because production on them has not been initiated.
This also includes seven additional metadata fields, displayed on the Add Schedule Group page (for the Book Schedule Group family). The fields are:
First ensure that book processing is enabled (PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Configure Book Processing).
To enable the transmittal method for a Submission Production Task, go to PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Configure Submission Workflows and Tasks. Click the Edit link next to All Submission Production Tasks to open the Configure Submission Workflow page. Click the Edit link next to the applicable Task Type (or add a new task as needed).
On the Add/Edit Submission Task page, go to the FTP Options section. In the Submission Task Transmittal Method drop-down menu, select "BITS 2.0 Production Task Export" and click Submit.
Configuring the Schedule Group Tasks is similar. Go to PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Configure Schedule Group Production Tasks. Click the Edit link next to the applicable task (or add a new task as needed).
On the Add/Edit Schedule Group Production Task page, go to the FTP Options section. In the Group Task Transmittal Method drop-down menu, select "BITS 2.0 Production Task Export" and click Submit.
