Configure "I Accept" Checkbox

Publications can configure customized text on the Submissions Waiting for Author's Approval page to include policies or guidelines they require Authors to read and accept. This feature displays a checkbox Authors must select to acknowledge and accept the guidelines before being allowed to finalize their submission.

TO CONFIGURE:

Go to PolicyManager > Submission Policies > Configure Author Accept Checkbox. Check the box to enable the feature.

Three page elements can include customized text: the page instructions, the column header above the I accept checkbox, and the alert text shown if the Author does not select the checkbox. (The "I accept" text is not editable.) Instructions and column header text can include a hyperlink to an external webpage.

Enter all desired text and click the Submit button.
