Author conflict of interest (COI) disclosure reports from Convey may be included in transmittals in XML and/or PDF format. The system retrieves the most recent data for each discloser from Convey in the applicable format and gathers the returned files to include in the transmittal.
Go to PolicyManager > Submission Policies > Configure Conflict of Interest Disclosure. A checkbox setting, Retrieve disclosures in PDF format (in addition to the default XML format). When this box is checked, the system will retrieve PDFs that will be available for inclusion in transmittals and for download by Editor roles on the Conflict of Interest Disclosures page.
PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Configure Submission Workflows and Production Tasks > Add/Edit Submission Production Task.
When the Convey feature is enabled for the publication, two related checkbox settings appear on the Add/Edit Submission Production Task page in the FTP Options section. When one or both of these boxes are checked, the Author COI files from Convey are included in the transmittal package:
