Publications can customize instructional text for several steps of the registration process.
When a new user clicks the Register Now link, a Pre-registration page opens. Custom text can appear to the left of the pre-registration box (header) and below the name and email address boxes (footer).
On the Registration page, custom instructional text can appear to the left of the form (header) and for the Personal Information and Areas of Interest or Expertise sections, as well as in the Personal Classifications popup window (accessed via a button in the Areas of Interest or Expertise section).
On the Update My Information page, custom instructional text can appear in the left column of the page under the header.
Go to PolicyManager > Registration and Login Policies > Edit Registration Instructions.
Enter any custom text in the appropriate text box. HTML markup can be used to format the text, and special characters are available (click the Insert Special Character link to open a palette of characters). Default instructions are included. If messaging is edited, the original defaults can be restored by clicking the Revert to Default Instructions link. When finished, click Submit.
