Customize Site Banner

A publication's site banner can be customized to feature publication-branded elements. The publication title displayed may be edited and publication’s logo included. The background color of the banner may be set to blue or gray.

To configure:

Go to PolicyManager > General Policies > Customize Navigation Bar.

  1. Change Site Title: Enter the publication title to appear on the site banner (limit: 88 characters, including spaces). If this text box is left blank, the existing title (as shown in %JOURNALFULLTITLE%) will be displayed.
  2. Choose the color of site banner: Use the radio button to select blue (default) or gray.
  3. Upload a custom logo to display in the banner: Use the tool to drag-and-drop or select an image file from your computer. (Image size 40 x 40 px. File format JPG or PNG. File size 50 kb max.)
  4. Click the Preview Customizations button. This opens a pop-up overlay displaying the customized banner.
  5. Confirm elements and click Close to return to the configuration page.
  6. When finished, click Save Changes.

Updates may take up to one hour to display on the site for all users.
