Define National Holidays for Task Due Date Calculation

Publications using ProduXion Manager may configure a set of national holidays, which will be considered when the system calculates due dates for production tasks. System administrators can configure national holidays on a country-by-country basis.

This setting applies to the following production task due date calculations:

To Configure:

Go to PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Define National Holidays. This page lists all countries in the publication's chosen ISO Country Standard Newsletter. Click the Edit link next to the applicable country.

On the Edit Holiday Date page:

  1. Click the Add New Holiday Date link.
  2. Use the calendar icons to enter the start/end date of the holiday.
  3. Enter a description (name) for the holiday.
  4. Click Submit.

Repeat the steps to enter additional holidays.

To include holidays in due date calculations, go to PolicyManager > General Policies > Configure General Due Date Preferences.

  1. Select the radio button next to the preferred setting for calculating due dates.
    • Calendar days
    • Working days
  2. Check the box next to the setting, Allow extra time for national holidays in production task calculations.
  3. Click Submit.
