Leave a People-Sharing Group (IJRS)

A publication can discontinue the IJRS relationship and withdraw from the group. The IJRS group persists, and all other publications in the group can continue to share with each other as before.

Turning off the setting for User Data Sharing ends all Reviewer Data Sharing relationships as well. Cross-publication transfer is also disabled.

Reinstating a Share User Data relationship at a later date can result in discrepancies in People data and will force users to re-synchronize data. This may require some users to change their usernames.

TO CONFIGURE:

To turn off Inter-Journal Resource Sharing features and withdraw from a group, go to AdminManager > Share People > Define People Sharing Group. Click the Stop Sharing User Data link. A confirmation pop-up window appears. To confirm, click the OK button.

Note: If a publication being linked or unlinked has more than a specific number of People records (currently defined as 50000) in its database, the operation will not be completed. Contact your Aries Account Coordinator to complete the operation.
