Manuscript analysis services evaluate submission materials, for example, to check for compliance with industry guidelines or to perform statistical analysis. Publications may allow Authors and Reviewers to access the results returned by these third-party services.
Authors may see a Manuscript Analysis Services action link in folders in the New Submissions and Revisions sections of the Author Main Menu. (The link will not appear in the Declined Revisions folder). A yellow alert icon appears next to the link when new results require attention.
Click the link to open the Manuscript Analysis Services page. The page displays information for each analysis service, including: date of analysis, revision of the submission sent for analysis, scores from the service (if sent). Two action links may be displayed, depending on the format of analysis results:
Reviewers may see a Manuscript Analysis Services action link in the Pending Assignments folder when analysis results are available. A yellow alert icon appears next to the link when new results require attention.
