Notification Services Monitoring Report

The reporting tool is available on publication sites that use the EM Notification Services feature. The feature is used to send notifications via API from a publication site to one or more predefined endpoints at specific workflow events. Notifications contain select submission metadata.

This report can be used by Editor roles with permission to access information about messages sent out to endpoints configured for the publication. A link to the report appears in the Administrative functions section of the Editor Main Menu.

The tool provides multiple search criteria. If more than one are selected, then results returned are limited to messages that meet all the criteria.

To run the report:

Select one or more criteria:
1. Endpoint: Use the multi-selector tool to choose one or more.
2. Subscribed Event: Use the multi-selector tool to choose one or more.
3. Message Status: Use the multi-selector tool to choose one or more.
4. Message GUID: Enter the identifier in the text box.
5. Document ID: Enter the identifier in the text box.
6. Manuscript Number: Enter the manuscript number in the text box.
7. Create Date: Use the drop-down menu to select the time frame. If required, use the calendar tool to select the date(s) to define the time frame.
Click Submit.

Results page

The columns of the results grid are the same as the criteria listed above. A Details link for each record opens a pop-up window that provides additional message delivery, including the notification payload and delivery attempts.
