ORCID Peer Review Activity Credit

A publication may offer Reviewers the option to credit the Review Activity section of their ORCID record with eligible completed reviews.

When you submit your review, you may be asked to allow the publication to update your ORCID record to indicate that you completed a review. After the notification, your ORCID record will be credited with the Review Activity.

To allow the publication to update your ORCID record: Select the Yes radio button.
To deny permission to update your ORCID record: Select the No radio button.
To make your selection the default for future reviews: Check the box.

You may also change your selected answer for a completed review later. The ORCID Reviewer Credit authorization form is available for each eligible review in your Completed Assignments folder. Click the ORCID Deposit Authorization in the Action column.

Note: You will not see the review activity credit in your ORCID record immediately. Publications send batches of review activity credits to ORCID periodically, on a schedule determined by the publication.
