Production Notes Field

Users with Editor or Publisher roles may see a Production Notes field on the submission's Details page. This field may be used to provide instructions or other information to the production department. Text can be entered or deleted by any user with permission to edit the field.

To enter or edit Production Notes on the Details page:

1. Click your cursor into the text field.
2. Type or edit text as needed.
3. Click the Save (or Save and Close) button.

The Production Notes field may also be displayed on the transmittal form and (for publications using production tracking) on the Production Status Grid.
