Security for EM Text Fields

A security tool in EM protects text-input fields from cross-site scripting (CSS) attacks. If a user enters potentially malicious HTML code into a text field (e.g., during the manuscript submission process), the system identifies the problematic content and does not render the code.

Fields containing the potentially malicious code are marked [EXSCINDED], and the content appears as encoded.
