Set View Options on Status History

As a submission goes through the editorial process, the status of the submission changes. These status changes are configured in association with ActionManager events. Similarly, on publication sites using production tracking, the status of the submission changes as it moves through the production process.

Users with permission may view a submission's status history on the History page, accessed via the History link in the submission's Action column. Status history may be viewed in two ways. Links at the top of the History page enable the user to switch between views:

Switch to Timeline View: Lists all status history in a single table in chronological order with each status noted by date.

Status Type View: Separates status types into separate tables. Each table is listed in chronological order and each status noted by date. Tables may include:

Document Status History: Applies to editorial status history. (Editor roles only.)
Edit Submission Status History: Applies to editorial status history. (Editor roles only.)
Production Status History: Appears on publication sites using production tracking. (Editor and Publisher roles.)
Task Manager Status History: Appears on publication sites using Task Manager. (Editor and Publisher roles.)
