The special character palette provides a selection of the most commonly used characters that cannot be found on a standard English keyboard. Pages where the user is required to enter information (in comment fields, letters, etc.) display an Insert Special Character link to open a special character palette.
In addition, other special characters can be entered manually using HTML or Unicode character code into any text entry box where the special character palette is available.
