Technical Check
The Technical Check feature allows publication staff to ensure that an incoming submission conforms to the standards set by the publication and that it includes all the information required. Submissions that do not pass technical check can be sent back to the Author.
Note: The Technical Check feature is not available for use with Direct-to-Editor functionality.
A Technical Check link may appear in various folders for incoming submissions. Article Type configuration determines which folder receives a submission.

- New Manuscripts Submitted but Technical Check not yet complete
- Revisions Submitted but Technical Check not yet complete
- Submission to Technical Check Complete (average number of days)
- Technical Check Complete to Editor Assignment (average number of days)
