If you are a user with an Author, Editor, Reviewer, or Publisher role, start by clicking the button for your role on the homepage. You will see a list of articles specific to actions and information for your role.
If you are a system administrator, click the menu icon at the top of the window to access the full EM Help table of contents. Click any section to open a page with a list of articles specific to that area of functionality. The System Administration section is divided into subsections.
Tip: If you are a frequent user of the help system, refresh the EM Help window or clear your browser cache periodically to ensure that you are seeing the latest version. EM Help is updated monthly.
A search will return a maximum of 20 results. Search terms appear in bold in article previews on the search results page.
After you click the search icon, the system may display a throbber (animated graphical squares) to indicate that a search is in progress. If a search seems to be taking a long time, click the search icon to stop the throbber and resolve the search. If no results are displayed, click the search icon to run the search again.
Periodically, you should clear your browser cache to ensure that you are linking to the most recent version of the EM Help system. (Content may be updated monthly.)
Note: Search results links may not work reliably with the Firefox browser.
When an article is accessed from the list of search results, words in the search terms are highlighted in yellow in the article text to make it easy to find search-related information. However, you may not want the yellow highlights if you choose to print or save the article. Follow these steps to access a "clean" copy of the article for saving and printing.
