When production tasks are assigned to users, those users can be notified with a letter that includes a deep-link merge field to direct them to the task.
Deep-link merge fields are available for use in Author, Editor, and Publisher role letters. Links can be set to expire after a set number of clicks and/or a set number of days. These merge fields are not for use in batch emails.
%PROD_TASK_DEEP_LINK% inserts a task-specific URL into Author Production Task Assignment or Author Production Task Reminder letters in the Production or Production Reminder letter family.
The link performs a full login and directs the Author to the Current Tasks Assignment page. In email letters configured to display in HTML format, the deep link appears as clickable text, Production Task Assignment.
%PROD_TASK_EDITOR_PUBLISHER_DEEP_LINK% inserts as task-specific URL into letters in the Production or Production Reminder letter family to Editor or Publisher roles.
The link performs a full login and directs the user to the location of the task assignment, either Submission Tasks Assigned to Me page or Schedule Group Tasks Assigned to Me page. In email letters configured to display in HTML format, the deep link appears as clickable text, Production Task Assignment.
To set the deep-link expiration terms, go to PolicyManager > ProduXion Manager > Set Production Task Deep Link Expirations.
To keep the link active indefinitely, do not check either box. If both boxes are checked (and numbers entered), the link expires when the first criterion is met.
