View Submission

Authors, Reviewers, Editors, and Publishers may view a submission's PDF by clicking on the View Submission action link. Clicking the link opens a pop-up window to access the PDF. (If the publication uses the Early Proof URL feature, a URL to access the proof may also be available.) Users see the PDF configured for use with their role.

All PDF files are created at 72 dpi resolution to make the file size manageable for downloading. Each image in the PDF file link to a higher resolution image is available for each image in the PDF file.

Authors

Click the link to open a pop-up window. Download options available: Open, Save, and Cancel.

Reviewers

Click the link to open a pop-up window. Reviewers may access the PDF for each revision of the submission.

Editors

Editors with permission may access both Author/Editor PDF, Reviewer PDF, and Auxiliary PDF (if one is available). Access to the Reviewer PDF allows an authorized Editor to ensure that all intended items are included for the Reviewer and that they are anonymized appropriately.

Click the link to open a pop-up window. The popup displays links to all version of the submission (Original, Revision 1, etc.). If an Auxiliary PDF is available, that link will also appear. Clicking the link to the chosen version opens the PDF file.

Publishers

Publishers with permission may access the Author/Editor PDF and Auxiliary PDF (if one is available).

Click the link to open a pop-up window. The popup displays links to all version of the submission (Original, Revision 1, etc.). If an Auxiliary PDF is available, that link will also appear. Clicking the link to the chosen version opens the PDF file.

Note: A user may find that selecting more than one PDF (for example, to compare them), results in the files opening in a single window. This is an attribute of Acrobat Reader. Check Acrobat Reader settings to enable each file to open in a new window.
