WeChat Gateway for Author Notifications

Some publications allow Corresponding Authors who are users of the WeChat app to get notifications about their submissions via WeChat. Contact the publication office or look for the publication's WeChat account to find out if this feature is available.

Once a user's publication record and WeChat account are linked, Author notifications can be received via WeChat.

To link your publication user record to your WeChat account:

Using WeChat, click on the publication's WeChat account to request a connection.
Follow the instructions in the app.

To unlink your publication user record from your WeChat account:

Using Editorial Manager, log in to the publication website.
Click your name in the top right corner of the page to open the user drop-down menu.
Click the Update My Information link to open the Update My Information page.
Go to the Linked Accounts section of the page and click Unlink next to WeChat Notification Channel.
Click the Submit button to save your changes.
