Configurations for Reporting

Editors with permission to produce reports see a Reports link in the Administrative Functions section of the Editorial Main Menu.

For information on working with reports, see Reporting.

Permission to produce reports should only be given to Editor roles that can be allowed to see any information in the database, typically the publication administrators or the Editor-in-Chief. Information in the database does not follow submission-anonymizing policies.

The Reports page lists the available reporting tools, organized into the following categories:

  1. Report Tools
  2. Status Reports
  3. Author Reminder Reports
  4. Invited Author Reports
  5. Editor Reports
  6. Reviewer Reports
  7. Manuscript Rating Reports
  8. Summary and Annual Reports

Reminder reports require additional configuration. See Reminder Letters and Automated Reminder Reports.

Enterprise Analytics Reporting and Cross-Publication Analytics Reporting

A link to Enterprise Analytics Reporting (EAR) tools displays on the Report Tools page if EAR is enabled for the publication. A link to Cross-Publication EAR tools displays on the Report Tools page if Cross-Publication EAR is enabled for the publication and the Editor role has the related permission.

These features require configurations in addition to RoleManager permissions. For details, see Configure Enterprise Analytics Reporting and Cross-Publication Enterprise Analytics Reporting.
