Publications may create a library of images, such as logos, for use in letters and custom merge fields. Image files must be uploaded to the system before they can be used in system letters.
The Edit Image Files for Letters page may be reached in several ways.
Go to PolicyManager > Email and Letter Policies > Edit Letters, or go to PolicyManager > Email and Letter Policies > Define Custom Merge Fields. On both of these pages an Edit Image Files for Letters button appears.
All uploaded files appear in a list on the Edit Image Files for Letters page. These images can be edited, replaced, or hidden by using the Edit/Replace link. Uploading a replacement file replaces the image in all letters in which it is used. Hiding an image makes it unavailable for insertion in new letters or custom merge fields, but it continues to display in previously sent emails.
