Ingest and Transfer of Submissions

Direct submission through the main menu of a publication's EM site is not the only way that manuscripts come into the EM system. Editorial Manager also allows manuscripts to be imported (or ingested) via third-party Manuscript Service Providers (MSPs) and publishers' Author Portals, using the EM Ingest Service. In addition, the system also allows EM publication sites to transfer submissions both to and from other publications.
