In some instances it may be necessary to clear your browser cache after a new version of Editorial Manager is released to ensure your browser is using the most up-to-date settings. Many browsers can be configured to clear or update the cache automatically; however, in the event pages appear to load incorrectly, clearing your browser cache should resolve any issues. If issues persist, please contact your system administrator.

Your browser application may also have a setting requiring you to enable or block the launching of popup windows. Enable this setting for full EM functionality. Consult your browser's help system for instructions on allowing popup windows for selected sites.
It is highly recommended that users work within Editorial Manager using a single browser and window at a time. Accessing multiple submission records via several windows or browsers simultaneously can lead to unintended functionality.
It is highly recommended that users navigate within Editorial Manager using only the links and buttons on system pages. Using back and forward commands on the web browser may result in unintended consequences in Editorial Manager.
Effective use of Editorial Manager in the editorial office requires a connection between each workstation and the Internet with a bandwidth of at least 1 megabit/second. While EM will technically run with lower speed connections, we believe that the resulting reduced efficiency will make the use and performance of Editorial Manager unacceptable to the Editorial Office. Accordingly, we strongly encourage the Editorial Office to assure Internet connectivity through one of the options listed below (other options should also be acceptable, provided that they satisfy the performance requirements):
