Search by Classification Matches (Reviewer Search)

The Search by Classifications Matches option allows Editors to search for Reviewer Candidates whose personal classifications match the submission's classifications.

On Reviewer Selection Summary page, select Personal Classifications as the search type.
On the search page, select Search by Classification Matches from the drop-down menu of search options.
Click Go. Results display a list of the submission's classifications for which a match was returned. Each classification displays the number of Reviewers found with that personal classification.
Check the box next to the classification term(s) to select.
Click Submit.

The Reviewer Candidate grid displays Reviewers with one or more personal classifications that match one or more of the submission's classifications. Classification matches are indicated. The list is organized by classification term.

Reviewer search results lists can not be sorted on the page, but users may set preferences for how Reviewers' classification matches are displayed and how results within classification sections are ordered. See Set My Reviewer Display Preferences.

Note: If no classifications have been chosen for the submission, then no Reviewer candidates are returned in the search. An Editor with permission can assign classifications to a submission and then use this Reviewer selection feature. See Modify Submission Classifications.
