A submission's correspondence history automatically stores copies of all letters related to the submission that are sent from within the system. All roles may be given permission to view correspondence history; however, the extent of correspondence that may be viewed differs by role.
A user logged in as an Author sees a Correspondence link in the Action column. The Author's correspondence pop-up window includes only correspondence sent to the Author (and by the Author if the publication has ad hoc Author emails enabled).
Editor, Publisher, and Reviewer roles see a Correspondence History section of the History page containing a list of letters associated with the submission.
For information on Editor use, see Correspondence History.
For information on use by other user roles, see View Correspondence.
