Commerce Manager

Overview

Commerce Manager integrates payment processing with the editorial and/or production workflow. Publications can request payment from authors at various points in the submission workflow, using a submission fee or other fee. Fee configurations can allow authors to request a waiver, request a bill, or pay with a credit card.

Accepting credit card payments requires a PayPal account on record with Aries. Your Aries representative can assist in configuring your site for credit card transactions.

Publications can use Commerce Manager even if they do not accept credit card payments. The Bill Me payment option supports billing and collection of payments outside the EM/PM system.

If your publication is interested in using Commerce Manager, contact your Aries Account Coordinator.
