ProduXion Manager

ProduXion Manager (PM), a companion product to Editorial Manager (EM), can be used independently or in conjunction with EM. PM features enable publications to manage the process of preparing accepted manuscripts for publishing. For an overview, see the ProduXion Manager video.

Production Tracking features allow publications to manage activities not directly related to editorial peer review. For most publications these are production-related activities, such as typesetting or proofreading. Tasks can be assigned to individual submissions or schedule groups (multiple submissions that share a publication schedule, such as articles for a single issue, conference proceedings, or a monthly web site update).

Task Manager enables publications to use task functionality to manage editorial tasks (i.e., tasks that take place before the initiation of production).

Enterprise View enables publication staff to manage the production process across multiple publication sites that belong to the same Business Publisher.

Books Processing: PM can be used specifically for managing production of books, and a custom language pack is available to display book-related terminology in the system.
